Jagadguru Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati is scheduled to meet various political parties on the issue of cow in Delhi today. Earlier, he was stopped by the Narela police. Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand had asked all political parties question on the issue of cow slaughter at the Kumbh Mela. He was given time to clarify his stand on it. Today, on March 17, at the Ramlila Maidan in Delhi, they are going to wait for the reply of all political parties till 5:00 pm, before that they have been stopped by the Narela police.
The question was asked about cow murder
Prior to the entry in Delhi, he had said that political parties have to clarify whether they are in favor of cow slaughter or in protest, or silently indicating that what has been happening for the last 78 years will continue. If there is no clear answer from political parties till this day, then they will go to the door of every party and ask their intention.
“Hindu must first consider himself a Hindu”
Shankaracharya had said that Hindu would have to first consider himself a Hindu, oppose cow slaughter. There is a Hindu gaurakshak and cannot see the cow being killed. If cow slaughter is taking place in the country, it means that Hindu is weak. He had said that the Hindu nation is being demanded, but if the cow slaughter continues even after the formation of a Hindu nation, it will not benefit, so he appealed to the Hindus that they would have to be aware first and make efforts to completely stop cow slaughter.
