Anti-Eve Teasing Squad to be built in Delhi.
New Delhi: Security of women is a major issue in the capital Delhi. In such a situation, now on the lines of the anti-Romeo squad of UP, Anti-Eve Teasing Squad will also be built in Delhi. The police commissioner has also issued a release in this regard. This squad will be named “Etiquette Squad”. Under this, 2 squads will be deployed in every district of Delhi. It will have ACP, Crime Against Women’s heads of these squads. Each of its squad will have an inspector, one sub -inspector and 8 constables and head constables, including 4 women policemen.
Policemen will stay in plain clothes at public place
Along with this, a policeman from the Special Unit in this squad will be together for technical assistance. Anti-Eve Teasing Squad will also have a car and two-wheelers. The squad will be deployed in all sensitive areas. Policemen posted in the squad will be in plain clothes. At the same time, the people of the squad will also check in public transport and motive to complain to the victims. You will also be in touch with RWA and local volunteer, so that information can be found about sensitive places. Every week the squad will drive a drive, which will have to be reported to senior officers.
Anti Romeo Squad formed in UP
Please tell that after the formation of the Bharatiya Janata Party government in Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath was made CM. Its CM Yogi decided to create an anti -Romeo squad to take action on the Manchalas in 2017 itself. Its purpose was to curb girls out of schools and colleges across the state. Under this squad, special squads were made in every police station. Apart from this, women policemen were also deployed in Anti Romeo Squad. The task of this squad was to catch people who tamper with women and take action against them. Now keeping this in mind, an exercise is being made to create anti-eave teasing squads in Delhi.
